We made it!

Just a quick note to tell you we ALL made it safely to Harmony House tonight...all 22 of us..we've added 3 more guys to our group...2 from Iowa and 1 from Kansas City...I think its a first that we have more guys then girls!

All bellies are full, bags are unpacked, and beds are getting filled with sleepy team members...all excited to explore and serve the community we are in!

Thank you for all the prayers! We are all glad to be here!

More to come...

  4. OK...so I told myself I wasn't gonna post for a couple of days, but even I knew that wasn't possible. James, I am sure you are having an amazing time already and you don't even notice that I am not there. Well I am noticing that you are not here. Even still, there is no other place I would rather you be. I have been praying you to have HIS strength when you grow weak, HIS eyes, to see your need, and HIS love to share with everyone you meet. I am so proud to be called your mom. You are such an awesome kid and from a very young age you have had this uniqueness of humanity about you. Use your gifts to their fullest! I wonder if you have seen Junior? If not, I hope it is because he is in school. If you ask some of the other boys, about his age, to get him to come to courtyard time, he will come. They may know him better as Bones. 2 things: save a good pair of socks for climbing Dunns River because I forgot to pack you water shoes #2 make sure to give hugs and sloppy kisses to every little beautiful baby you see for me!!!!!

  5. Yep it's me AGAIN! :) But this one is for Mike... How did you know I wanted James with you while traving? Nevertheless, I have to ask, "How did it go?" red light or green light? But most importantly I want to thank you for being a light for my son. I meant to warn you, he is one of the smartest people I know, but he did get the short stick end of the stick when it comes to common sense. (sorry if you are reading this James, but we both know it's true) All kidding aside...you are an extraordinary man and you make God proud! Thank you so much for all your patience, trust, and love for what your doing. I can't think of a better man for the job.

  6. OK Laci, it's your turn! This is harder than I thought it would be. Yes, James is a big part of it but not being there is a bigger part. Looking @ the pics on the home page of this blogsite and recognizing every beautiful Harmons face and and not being able to touch it is breaking my heart. So what that means is that you need to give double for me. Double hugs, kisses, smiles, sweeties AND baalooons. I am also sad that I won't be there to plan your flowering and catch it on video. Laci, you are EXACTLY where you need to be, God said so! Enjoy this journey! Love ya sister.

  8. I am so glad everyone is doing great so far. I have seen the first pictures and you guys look like you are working hard. I am praying for everyone. And Bobby, Moni says that she loves you and she is proud that you are building houses to help the people. She told the kids today that her Daddy was helping Jesus. Thank you for being a good role model. Thank you all.
    Praying for you all!
